KRAA conducts year-round temperature monitoring to track freshwater conditions across the Kodiak region. Temperature data collected at monitoring sites are contributed to AKTEMP, a statewide platform for storing, reviewing, exploring, and downloading stream and lake temperature data across Alaska. This work supports long-term monitoring efforts and improves access to information that can help inform future fisheries and habitat research.
